C&G2921-31 Design and Installation of small commercial EV charging installations
C&G2921-31 Design and Installation of
Small Commercial EV charging installations
The course is based around the new IET ON site guide Note version 5 which came out in Sept 2023. YOU MUST HOLD THIS COPY TO TAKE THIS COURSE
The 5th edition will hold all the updates which BS7671 introduced and are specific to the EV requirements in this course and the exam will be updated accordingly in Sept 2023 please ensure you have the up to date copy.
This is one of the new courses which City and Guilds have together with the JIB ensured that candidates must hold one of the required qualifications to come onto the course.
The C&G2919 courses will stop later in 2023 and the 2921 3 courses will take over.
The reason for this is that the JIB did a survey of many EV charging installations and it was found that many were dangerous and therefore not adequately or safely installed, for this reason, anyone now undertaking one of the three EV charging courses must hold either a current JIB Gold card and/or valid Electrical Installation recognized NVQ (contact us if you are in any doubt)
We cannot certify you unless we have a copy of your valid Electrical certificate which is why the registration process took a little longer than normal.
This course is NEW and is recognised by the JIB using your skills in the electrical trade
These are the current three courses avaiable and this qualification is the C&G2921-31 Domestic EV installation course.
What is the purpose of this Course
