ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING IN DOMESTIC COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL
WHO ARE THESE QUALIFICATION FOR:
Electricians, Engineers and Domestic Installers who need to become qualified in the installation, testing and regulatory requirements of the Electric Vehicle Charging points in Domestic or Commercial Installations.
Two Courses are available depending on your need or level of experience.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
This course is intended for practicing electricians however, City & Guilds does not set entry requirements for these qualifications. Due to the safety implications of working with testing single and 3 phase supply and the guided learning hours associated with this qualification, it is recommended candidates should have a Level 3 qualification demonstrating competency associated with working with and terminating supplies in the electrical installation industry. HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED:
Depending on which course you choose you will be assessed by:
You will be assessed by one multiple choice evolve exam and a Practical assessment of Installation, termination and testing of an Electric Vehicle Charging Point.

Unit 301 installation and commissioning of EV charging equipment in domestic, commercial and industrial locations Practical Assessment
Unit 601 installation and commissioning of EV charging equipment in domestic, commercial and industrial locations Evolve On line Multiple Choice Exam. (1hr)
HOW WILL I LEARN
You will learn through a series of units delivered via our ON-LINE LEARNING PORTAL with a number of advantages.
You will not have to take time off work (except for the exam / assessment)
You Study and Learn at a time and pace to suit you
You do not have to wait until a course is available (we teach 365 days a year)
You will not be in a large class
You will have no need to wait for others to catch up
HOW LONG WILL THE COURSE TAKE:
There is no fixed time as it depends on your prior knowledge and experience but City & Guilds provide a guidance to the number of learning hours of 16hrs but the control is all yours as the learning is understanding the requirements of EV installations and testing to meet current Wiring and DNO regulatory requirements you can progress as quickly as you are able.
