PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATE (Small assessment fee)
WHO IS THIS QUALIFICATION FOR:
Install or Maintenance Electricians, Lecturers , Assessors or IQA who want to update their CPDincrease or confirm knowledge Or for those practicing Electricians who need to update or confirm their Safe Isolation skills and knowledge or Engineers entering the Electrical Industry.
Anyone workig and responsible for the Safe Isolation process.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
qualification has no formal entry requirements, but it is recommended that you have a good working knowledge of Electrical Installations and H&S . It is also recommended that a suitable technical industry certificate
If you intend to take both parts of the qualification Theory and Practical we bring to your attention that safe isolation practical will be undertaken on both single and Three phase task boards working to Regulation 14 of EAWR 14 working on or near live conductors.
HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED:
The course is assessed by one on line multiple choice exam to complete the general CPD and knowledge update part fo the course, a certificate will be issued on successfull completion.
If you would like to confirm your practical knowledge and complete the assessment this will be taken at one of our centres and cover both single and three phase practical assessments. (a small fee is payable for this assessment only)
HOW WILL I LEARN
will learn through a series of units delivered via our ON-LINE LEARNING PORTALwith a number of advantages.
You will not have to take time off work You Study and Learn at a time and pace to suit you do not have to wait until a course is available (we teach 365 days a year)
You will not be in a large class
The Practical assessment will have a practice session prior to undertaking the final assessment at our centre (or your company if 4 or more candidates undertake the course)
HOW LONG WILL THE COURSE TAKE:
There is no fixed time as it depends on your prior knowledge and experience but a guidance to the number of learning hours might be 4 hrs CPD for the theory and practical ssessment of 1 hr. which includes theory well as applying understanding.
As the majority of time is theory you can progress as quickly as you are able.
COST OF THE COURSE:
The Course if FREE for the theory CPD. (This will include the online certification)
If you would like to undertake the two practical assessments this is just £50 (payable on invoice following registration with us for your course.)
